Do you do deep tissue?
Yes I do. Depending on what each person needs, my pressure is adjusted to smooth, not tear, muscles back into a regular state. Some people and areas respond to energy work that is as light as a feather, while others respond to deep tissue. I encourage clients to talk to me during their sessions to make sure that, on a scale of 1 to 10(1 = light as a feather and 10 = the most excruciating pain), that I am not exceeding a seven, where you feel like I am bruising or tearing muscle fibers. I try to pay attention to a person’s breathing and body language, but some just try to bear through the pressure because they think they will benefit more later, or they are just shy. I always encourage and ask that my clients proactively communicate this to me during their session, so that we can achieve the goal of healing.
Holistic Medical Healing
My philosophy is that their is a time for western medicine, but it is most effective to combine treatment with holistic healing – what our bodies have responded to since the beginning of time. I have worked with people who have degenerative disc disease, whiplash, scoliosis, lordosis, sacroiliac pain, hip degeneration, sciatica, knee injuries (meniscal tears of anterior and medial cruciate ligaments), ankle twists, sprains, strains, shin splints, plantarfacitis , frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injuries, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, myelin sheath disease, arthritis, jaw pain, stomach pain, chronic migraine headaches, and fibromyalgia.
Listen to your body when you feel an onset of pain, and stop the activity to prevent further damage. Treatment can start with RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, and a Elevation) to relieve pain, reduce swelling, and speed recovery. Go to a doctor for neck and spinal column injuries, and possible broken bones. Then set up an appointment with me to aid with the healing process.

APPOINTMENTS CANCELLED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE SCHEDULED TIME WILL BE BILLED 50% OF THE STANDARD RATE. THE FULL AMOUNT WILL BE CHARGED IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP.
